Karkutahko Villas are located in Pohjois Savo, Kuopio in the Reittiö area only 1,5 km from the western slopes of Tahko. Karkutahko offers high-quality holiday accommodation in three holiday cottages, where you can live in the peace of nature in Tahko’s amazing landscapes, yet close to all the services of Nilsiä and Tahko.

Accommodation

All three holiday villas in Karkutahko are of a high standard and well equipped. The villas comfortably accommodate 10 people (6+4), for example two families can be accommodated spaciously. Each villa has its own sauna, kitchen, free WiFi and balcony and terrace. In addition, the equipment includes high-quality karaoke equipment, fireplace/sauna wood, household and toilet paper and filter bags. Courtyard has a spring-based artificial pond where you can swim (depth approx. 1,5m). From villas it is 1,5 km to the western slopes of the Tahko skiing center. The use of snowshoes and sledges in the winter and different games such as badminton and Mölkky in the summer are included in the rent. For an additional price, a hot tub can be ordered.

Activities

Karkutahko offers versatile opportunities for enjoying nature. There are mountain biking and snowmobile trails and a Frisbee golf course nearby. Karkutahko is a great place for anybody who wants an active vacation in wonderful scenery.
