Wilderness hotel Rokuanhovi is located in Rokua, Utajärvi municipality, North Ostrobothnia. Rokuanhovi offers accommodation and a place to enjoy nature on the shore of lake Jaakonjärvi.

Accommodation

Hotel rooms

Hotel accommodation is available for groups upon request. The hotel has 24 double rooms, some of which have the option of an extra bed. All rooms have toilet, shower, TV and a wireless Internet connection. The hotel rooms are divided into new-harmony and retro rooms. The price of the hotel room includes breakfast and the use of customer saunas.

Cottages

Rokuanhovi’s 10 cozy cottages offer comfortable accommodation for travelers who like a relaxed atmosphere. Rokuanhovi’s cottages have a wonderful view directly of Lake Jaakonjärvi. The cabins are simply equipped for 1 – 2 (4) people. The cabins have a kitchenette (fridge, stove, microwave, coffee maker), cooking equipment with dishes, toilet, shower, television. The cabins has two separate beds with renewed mattresses. There are two mattress places in the upstairs loft. There is a steep ladder to the loft, so sleeping in the loft is not suitable for everyone. We recommend cottages for two people.

Caravan area

The Caravan area has 30 caravan spaces for seasonal guests for year-round use. In addition to seasonal places, Rokuanhovi has a few 24-hour places. The caravan area has shower and toilet facilities, the possibility to wash dishes, take drinking water and empty the chemical toilet.

Meeting and party services

Rokuanhovi has facilities for both large and small meetings and parties. Rokuanhovi’s facilities are perfectly suited for organizing events for 10 to 160 people. The restaurant hall can accommodate 100 people.

The meeting room Karukko enables a smooth meeting day for up to 60 people. It is possible to combine the restaurant hall and Karukko into one space, which can accommodate 160 partygoers.

Meeting and party space in the courtyard of Väentupa Rokuanhovi lends itself to both parties and meetings. Väentupa can hold a meeting of 30 people. The meeting rooms have video projectors, sound reproduction and Wi-Fi connection. Väentuva’s fireplace room and sauna room offers a setting for smaller meetings and dinner parties.

Restaurant services

Restaurant Hovin Krouvi focuses on local food and the Finnish food industry as well as the principle of local production in its menu. The restaurant basically prepares everything in its own kitchen as far as possible. The restaurant does its own small-scale product development for the supply of natural foods.

The restaurant offers group meals for lunch and dinner as well as dinner/party menus for groups. The a la carte menu offers tasty, responsibly produced delicious food from nearby.

Nearby activities

The location of Rokuanhovi is right next to the Rokua National Park and in the heart of the Rokua Geopark area, allowing for wonderful nature experiences. Rokua has been chosen as the excursion destination of 2018.

Spending time in nature is one of the best ways to relax and rejuvenate. You can move in many ways, while enjoying the wonderful scenery, sounds of nature, silence and smells. There are almost 60 kilometers of marked outdoor trails, and they start right at the corner of Rokuanhovi. Rokuanhovi organizes guided hikes on nature trails of different lengths in Rokua National Park. In the summer, walking barefoot, sup-boarding and swimming in natural waters is relaxation at its best.
