Located in the Virolahti, in Kymenlaakso region. At Restaurant Olkihattu, food and wine are a passion. The kitchen follows the seasons and the menus always change according to the seasons. Three- and four-course menus are available, which can be supplemented with domestic cheeses.
The company considers the freshness of raw materials to be of primary importance. Because of this, the restaurant use only the best producers and products and always try to favor local producers whenever possible. Wines from Europe are selected according to the menus to match the dishes.
You can spend a meeting, training or team day in Olkihattu’s inspiring environment. The company has organized hundreds of meetings, weddings and various events that are tailored according to the customer’s wishes. Sauna facilities can be reserved as an additional service.
The company also organizes various activities and courses, e.g. drink and cooking courses, relaxation exercises, guided trips to the nearby nature – by bike, on foot or even floating in a life jacket. Kaakon Golf is right next door to the restaurant.
The restaurant mainly operates as a private dining restaurant. On friday and saturday, the restaurant is open to everyone.
