Cottages

The completely renovated holiday cottages Villa Lumo, Villa Aava, Villa Luppo, Villa Usva and Villa Kaisla, located on the edge of Aavasaksa, offer you a pleasant and cozy cottage holiday. The stylish cottages have sleeping places for five, the downstairs bedroom has a double bed and the loft has three separate beds. The cottages have a kitchen with the necessary kitchen equipment, a toilet, shower and sauna area, a TV and of course a fireplace to create the atmosphere. The price includes bed linen and towels. You can also order a breakfast basket for the cabin. The cottage village has a total of 19 special holiday cottages.

Area

Aavasaksa offers a great setting for a relaxed, peaceful vacation close to nature all year round. Enjoy lovely scenery and a nightless night or fall and fall colors or in winter the northern lights and pure white snow. In the immediate vicinity of the holiday village is the Aavasaksa observation trail, Kruununkierros, where you can enjoy a guided or independent view of the western view of the Tornio River Valley all the way to our neighboring country, and east of one of Finland’s most beautiful national landscapes. There are also restaurant services in the area.

Activities & rental services

Aavasaksa is a child-friendly skiing center for the whole family, which is also suitable for training. The slope has one lift and three very different slopes and a 60 m carpet lift. The longest slope is about a kilometer long and the difference in height is 115 m. It is only about 200 meters from the holiday cottages to the top of the ski slopes. The nature of Aavasaksa and the surrounding area offer pleasant things to do all year round. A good book, a fireplace and a sauna can sometimes be the best activities. And you can also spend your vacation doing nothing. You can rent SUP boards, kayaks, sliding snowshoes, skis and electric fatbikes from the cottage village.
