Wilderness Hotel Kirikeskus
Located in Posio, Lapland, on the shores of the crystal clear Lake Kirintöjärvi, next to Kirintövaara, offering its guests accommodation, dining, meeting and program services. At your disposal there is also a large private beach sauna with a big fireplace out of stone. There you can relax from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
In summer, you can enjoy in the middle of the peaceful nature eg. fishing and hiking. We rent boats and canoes from the hotel. We can arrange excursions without hurry, with only the sky as a limit. In winter, during snow and ice, we have own ski slopes and nearby skiing trails, and we arrange eg. snowmobile safaris in the wild landscapes of Lapland and trips to husky and reindeer farms. Snowshoe walking is easy and lets you enjoy the peace of nature and maybe even see the northern lights!
Accommodation
Hotel has 58 beds, consisting of seven family rooms for four persons and fifteen double rooms. Hotel also has several pet rooms with easy access to nearby forests through their own entrance. All rooms have views of either the hilly landscape or the lake. The rooms have newly refurbished quality beds where you can sleep well while relaxing from the day’s activities. Restaurant Kirindo
Hotel has a 90-seat restaurant Kirindo, whose large windows offer magnificent views of Lake Kirintöjärvi and Hill Kirintövaara. The restaurant is suitable for both fresh breakfast and cozy half- or full-board meals. You can also organize various parties and events in the restaurant. Kirindo’s food is always prepared using as much local ingredients as possible.
Meetings or events
80-seat auditorium, as well as several other different spaces suitable for gatherings or group work, create a good setting for a successful meeting or event. In the middle of the peace of nature, you get a completely new perspective on things in a whole new way. The catering can be easily organized in our restaurant. Up-to-date meeting technology and equipment are at your disposal.
Ski slopes and trails
Wilderness hotel’s own Kiri slopes are perfect for the youngest or beginners of the family, although some of the slopes also have a little challenge for those who need it. There are three slopes, two of which are illuminated. The height difference is 110 meters. Professional staff takes care of the best possible condition of the slope and equipment and makes the skiing safe for the whole family. Hotel also offers first-class ski trails, which with their versatility serve both beginners and more experienced enthusiasts. Many of Finland’s top skiers have trained on these trails!

Kirikeskus organize various activities and experiences according to the wishes of customers. Weekly program focused on the Arctic lifestyle, from which we can tailor different entities as needed.
