Harjumökit Cottages

The holiday cottages are located in the village of Saariharju, Ranua, Lapland. Nearby you will find Ranua Zoo, extensive wilderness, Simojärvi-Soppana and Korouoma hiking areas and much more to see and experience.

Harjumökit have four different comfortable cottages as well as a renovated barn for accommodation. There are also tent and RV pitches in the area. Saariharju is surrounded by several fishing lakes. The closest is Saarijärvi, where has a rowing boat, canoe and pedal boat in summer, and in winter you can go ice fishing or skiing. State hunting grounds and marshes can be found in the surroundings.

COTTAGES
Choose from four comfortable cottages with basic equipment. All cottages are electrified. Some of the cottages are only for summer use. The capacities of the cottages are at least 2 + 2 people. The largest cottage is for 3 + 3 people.

OLD BARN
Old barn renovated for accommodation use for 3 + 3 people. Experience the atmosphere of antiquity inside a 150 year old log. Electricity, heating and fireplace. WC / shower in the adjacent building (approx. 7 meters).

Q Motorhome and tent pitches

There are tent sites and places for motorhomes in the area. The area also has a kitchen canopy and toilets / showers for campers. No possibility to empty the chemical toilet.

Q Surrounding activities

The surrounding nature with its wilderness forests and marshes offers plenty of opportunities for various nature activities: hunting, fishing, berry picking, hiking, snowmobiling, etc. The state's extensive hunting grounds are nearby and snowmobiling routes are close by.

You can grill in the hut or in the yard, fish and smoke fish in the smoking bowl. On a hot summer day, you can swim, go boating or pedal boating. You can get sweet steam in the courtyard sauna.

Harjumökit Cottages is a good base when you want to visit places in the surroundings. There are many levels of trails for different walkers in Korouoma. Koro Canyon and the Soppana Hiking Trail are a short drive away. Ranua Zoo is a 20-minute drive away.
