Lemminkäinen / Tohmajärvi

Inside Lemminkäinen’s atmospheric log walls, even a larger group can be accommodated – there is room for 8 people comfortably. For relaxing moments, you can use both an indoor and a beach sauna, a fully equipped kitchen for cooking, a grill and a fireplace, and you can get to the water with rowing boats and canoes.

A two-story villa built from round logs and newly renovated in a modern style. In addition to underfloor heating, the villa is heated by a modern fireplace and an air source heat pump. On hot days, the air heating pump also provides much-needed cooling.

The beach is a gentle and south-facing sandy beach. A beach sauna with docks and a barbecue shelter guarantee relaxing vacation days on your own beach. In the sheltered yard area of the villa, it is possible to play yard games found in Lemminkäinen, such as bocce, croquet, petanque and darts.

Kureenranta / Kitee

Kurenranta’s modern “log cabin” has plenty of room for 10 people. Enjoy your vacation all year round: you have at your disposal a fully equipped kitchen, a sauna section, a large outdoor terrace, an atmospheric barbecue canopy and, for summer days, your own beach with natural sand on a rowing boat.

The cabin stays comfortably warm with underfloor heating, and if necessary, two air heat pumps provide cooling. To bring the atmosphere to the villa, there is a Nunnauuni fireplace.

Kurenranta’s villa beach is a mesmerizingly beautiful beach of natural sand, which is perfect for spending relaxing summer days. The shallow beach and sandy bottom are great for children’s water games: it’s only tens of meters shallow before the water reaches up to the armpits of an adult.

Subscription services

You can book a private cruise on an Acquador cruising boat in the spectacular scenery of Lake Pyhäjärvi. During the cruise, we can drive all the way to the Russian border, and further to Uukuniemi in Parikkala to enjoy the famous bison burgers, and finally to Kalliosaari island to admire the sunset. Ask for your own tour when booking the villa. (cruise can accommodate 5 adults, 2 children instead of an adult)
