Tervakosken Tervaniemi offers a versatile setting for meetings, training sessions, corporate away days, and celebrations, all within a historic manor estate on the shores of Lake Alasjärvi. With a manor house built in 1886, adaptable meeting spaces, a private restaurant, two lakeside saunas, and a cottage village located on the same grounds, the entire event can be hosted in one location.

Tervaniemi is located in Tervakoski, Janakkala, just 3.5 kilometers from the motorway. It is approximately 27 kilometers to Hämeenlinna, 85 kilometers to Helsinki, and 100 kilometers to Tampere. Each cottage has a dedicated parking space, and there is also ample free parking available within the estate grounds.

Tervaniemi Manor’s meeting facilities are suitable for groups of 10–100 people. A variety of meeting rooms and breakout spaces are available for everything from small meetings to larger training sessions and corporate events.

Catering and Dining

Tervaniemi’s catering service provides food and refreshments for meetings, celebrations and other group events. Catering can be tailored to suit each occasion, from breakfasts and meeting refreshments to full dinner menus, with special dietary requirements also taken into account. The food is known for being exceptionally delicious.

Dining can easily be combined with a meeting day, celebration or a relaxing sauna evening.

Lakeside Saunas and Relaxing Together

Tervaniemi has two different lakeside saunas on the shores of Lake Alasjärvi. The traditional log-built Rantasauna is partly built over the lake and is suitable for groups of approximately 10–15 people.

For larger groups, Sinivuokko combines a scenic sauna with a meeting and lounge area for 50–60 people and a spacious sun terrace overlooking the lake. Between sauna sessions, guests can take a refreshing dip in the lake, and during winter, ice swimming can be arranged upon request.

Celebrations in a Historic Manor Setting

Tervaniemi Manor provides a charming setting for both corporate events and family celebrations. The manor’s elegant rooms are suitable for weddings, birthdays, graduation parties, christenings, family gatherings and other special occasions.

The manor can accommodate up to 100 guests for dinner. The historic surroundings, beautiful lake views and spacious sun terraces create a distinctive and memorable setting for any celebration.

Cottage Accommodation in the Same Grounds

For overnight meetings and events, guests can stay in Tervaniemi’s own cottage village. The area has 20 log cottages available all year round, each equipped with a private sauna, kitchen facilities, Wi-Fi, air conditioning and six beds.

With accommodation located in the same grounds, guests can move seamlessly from a meeting to dinner, sauna and an overnight stay without the need for additional transportation.

Activities for Groups

Meetings and recreational days can also include a variety of shared activities. Tervaniemi’s peaceful natural surroundings offer excellent opportunities for outdoor activities, while additional experiences can be arranged through local partners according to the group’s wishes.
