Hotel Merikruunu

Located in Dragsfjärd in Kemiönsaari, Southwest Finland. The hotel is open every year on the day.

The hotel’s main building was already completed in 1930, and its operations have always included traditional, high-quality accommodation operations and serving tourists. The hotel is surrounded by a modern island village, a new holiday concept of living in an archipelago, in a unique environment.

Accommodation

The hotel has 15 rooms, all of which have been renovated during 2022. All rooms have their own WC, some also have their own shower room. Guests can take a sauna and a shower in the sauna section located on the ground floor. When you stay at a hotel, the room price always includes generous buffet breakfast. Pets are also warmly welcome at the hotel for a small cleaning fee.

Restaurant & Pub

Restaurant Merikruunu and Pub UnderBar offer famously tasty food and drinks. The day starts well starting with the house buffet breakfast, where a comprehensive selection of delicious options is offered. A popular lunch table is set all year round on weekdays at 11-15. Weekends at the restaurant available a ́ la Carte dishes with a varied menu and seasonal ingredients. The restaurant main hall or a smaller cabinet can also be reserved for private and corporate events. Facilities are available for 5-70 people.

Saunas

The hotel’s beach sauna is located by the sea, about 250 meters from the hotel’s main building. This sauna can also be booked for accommodation, and there is a small kitchen, dining areas and beds for 4 people. The sauna can accommodate about 6 people and you can easily take a refreshing swim from the pier. You can also order snacks, food or refreshing drinks for the sauna.

In the hotel’s upper courtyard, there is a new sauna that was taken into use in 2023. The sauna can easily accommodate 8 users at once. The jacuzzi connected to the sauna is also available for rent.
