Located in the province of North Karelia, on Koli, on the shore of Pielinen, one of Finland’s largest lakes, and right next to the Ukko-Koli ski slopes and the national park. It is about 5-8 km from the cottages to the village center of Koli.

Cottages

Ukko-Kolin Rantamökit offers customers eight high-quality and spacious holiday cottages for 2 to 11 people. In order to guarantee the success of the holiday, the functional floor plans and interior design of the cabins have taken into account coziness and practicality – both small and large groups can enjoy themselves in them. Pikkumökki and Sirkanmökki are intended for summer use only. Villenmökki is a traditional holiday cottage with a separate beach sauna.

All cottages have, for example, an indoor toilet, a TV, a microwave oven and a fireplace. In addition, there is a barbecue canopy or an open grill outside. The MALO classification, which guarantees a good level of equipment, is in five of Honkarakenne cabins, which also have e.g. dishwasher, washing machine, shower and DVD/Bluray player. The biggest cabins also have a home theater. Some cabins also have a smart TV. The cabins are right on the shore of the lake and pets are welcome. All cottages have their own boat.

Activities & rental services

In the wonderful landscapes of Koli, there are scenic routes of varying levels of difficulty for those interested in hiking. The environment is an experience in itself. The place is ideal for practicing various winter sports. It is 1.5-4 km to the slopes of Ukko-Koli, depending on the location of the cabin.

In the summer, you can take a boat trip to, for example, the nearby Sikosaari, which offers a wonderful view at Koli. There is a porch, a toilet and a campfire site on the island, which are free for customers to use. If you want, you can also rent an outboard motor for a day or even for the entire holiday trip, in addition SUP boards and bicycles are available for rent.
