Hattusaari Beach Cabins

Are located in eastern Finland in the municipality of Lieksa in the landscape of Lake Pielinen, Hattusaari in Koli. At Hattusaari, you can experience the greenery of summer, the glow of autumn, the peace of winter and the arrival of spring with the songs of the birds.

Accommodation

Hattusaari’s Beach Cabins have 15 comfortable private beach holiday cottages and villas for rent all year round. Alternatively, during your vacation, you can choose accommodation in an atmospheric two-story barn, a courtyard cottage, or the green room of an old log house. Vanha Ristola – Event venue

Vanha Ristola is an old log house built at the end of the 19th century. The courtyard area includes a two-story loft, where there are two rooms upstairs and two downstairs. In addition, the area has a courtyard cottage, a dance hall and a smoke sauna, which is heated for a separate fee. The Vanha Ristola can be rented for business or private events, or during a vacation, when the whole place is for your private use. Vanha Ristola – Event venue is available for rent only in summer and autumn.

Activities

The great nature of Pielinen and Hattusaari enables many kinds of activities. Koli has excellent routes for both hiking and skiing. Skiers will also be delighted by Hattusaari’s own slope, which can be accessed from every cabin. A barbecue hut and a sledding hill can be found by the side of the trail. The distance to the ski slopes and Koli National Park and the services of Koli village is 8-18 kilometers. You can also rent a canoe, kayak, sup-board or motor boat and go to experience the nature of the lake, go on an island trip or go fishing. In the grounds of Hattusaari Beach cabins, you can find mini golf, a soccer field, a tennis court, trampolines, ping pong and a children’s playground, all of which are available to accommodation guests free of charge.
