Located in Ranua, Lapland. Ranua Zoo is the home of over 50 arctic animal species and 200 individual animals. The animals live in spacious enclosures in the middle of forest. The Park is open every day of the year, also in the winter. Here you can see in natural surroundings how arctic animals have adapted to changing seasons.
Ranua Wildlife Park is a versatile holiday and outdoor center, where children and adults are sure to have plenty to do. Or you can just take your vacation casually and enjoy your stay with no hurry.

- THE POLAR BEARS, tHE EUROPEAN MINK and WOLVERINES, COMMON OTTERS and MUSKOXEN at the Ranua Wildlife Park are part of the EUROPEAN ENDANGERED SPECIES PROGRAMME (EEP).
- BEARS, LYNXES and WILD FOREST REINDEER, on the other hand, are part of the EUROPEAN STUDBOOK (ESB), containing the common pedigree of animals in the list of species of great concern, for wildlife parks.
