Petkeljärvi Outdoor Center

The Outdoor Center and camping area are located in Petraniemi, Ilomantsi, at the end of Petkeljärventie road.

Accommodation

From the hiking center can rent either the old park ranger’s house or a simple dormitory accommodation room from the main building of the camping center.

Campsite

The RV area is small and modest. There are both electrified and non-electrified parking spaces in the area. The area is best suited for small camper vans. There are also tent sites in the area. The campsite’s opening hours vary from the beginning of May to the end of October. You can find more detailed and up-to-date opening hours on Petkeljärvi’s website.

Sauna and meeting facilities

Private sauna and meeting room available for rent for various private and corporate events. The Petkeljärvi center also has a private dining restaurant that serves all year round.

Equipment rental

You can rent summer season equipment, such as canoes, kayaks and fatbikes from the Petkeljärvi center.

Activities

Petkeljärvi Center is located in the middle of the Petkeljärvi National Park. Enjoy being close to nature and take trips to the beautiful surroundings of the Ilomantsi area.
