Matikkala Cottages
Located in Ruokolahti, South Karelia region. Matikkala consists of six high-quality and well-equipped cottages and villas. The surrounding nature offers excellent opportunities for hiking on forest trails and outdoor trails in varying terrain. The Freeski Ski Area, a few hundred meters away, and its surroundings offer great scenery for running and jogging, skiing, downhill skiing and snowshoeing.
Lake Saimaa is about 500 meters away and the beach is used by cottage renters. The surrounding forests are full of collectibles especially in the fall. You can pick blueberries, lingonberries, mushrooms, etc. from the forest. You are warmly welcomed as our guest

Accommodation
There are six cottages to choose from, that each accommodate 6-8 people depending on the cottage. All cottages are well equipped with modern amenities. All cottages have a sauna and bathroom. There are rowing boats on the beach for cottage renters.

Rental equipment
Electric outboard motor for boat for rent separately. Winter sports equipment can be rented from nearby Freeskii Ski Center. Saimaa bike park operates on the slopes of the ski resort in summer.
