Accommodation

Pihamökki is a cozy accommodation with a wood-heated sauna located in the courtyard of Männikkölän Pirtti. The cottage has four double rooms and a living room with a TV. Food services by order either at the cottage or in Männikkölä Pirtti. The kitchenette also enables self-service cooking. You can rent rooms or the entire cottage. In the summer, a beach sauna is available by separate order.

Restaurant & catering service

Männikkölän Pirtti is an atmospheric and cozy dining place that offers a peaceful setting for order catering, family parties and meetings. Pirtti is open by appointment all year round. There is table space for 50 people in Pirtti, and there are twenty tables on the summer terrace.

Pop-Up cafe

Works in seasons and summers in Porokylä. You can find the pop-up cafe in the old dairy (Porokylänkatu 23) next to the bakery.

Karelian pie bakery

The home bakery products manufacturing and pick-up location is located in the center of Porokylä, so-called In dairy’s property, in the premises of the former cheese factory. From the bakery, you can get Männikkölän Pirtti’s handmade, Karelian pies.

Activities

Pirtti offers close to nature, exercise holidays; great nature experiences that travelers have time to enjoy. Excursions and vacations are organized as environmentally friendly as possible. Decisions take into account the harm caused to the environment. Such principles include, for example: the use of public transport, favoring the accommodation and dining services of local small tourism companies, local food and offering ordinary everyday pleasures; mushroom excursion, breakfast outdoors, wild berry jams, wood-heated sauna and herbal evening tea. In winter, Männikkölän Pirtti serves as a break cafe for skiers on the beach of Pielinen.
