Hvitträsk

A completely unique comprehensive work of art that attracts design and architecture enthusiasts from near and abroad. It is a mansion complex in Kirkkonummi, Finland, about 30 kilometers west of Helsinki.

  • The architect trio Gesellius, Lindgren and Saarinen fell in love with the scenery at Lake Vitträsk and built their own studio home there, in the National Romantic style. The Finnish Pavilion designed in 1889 for the 1900 World Fair in Paris gained international fame for the office.
  • Hvitträsk, completed in 1903, is a genuine jewel and a completely unique comprehensive work of art that attracts design and architecture enthusiasts from near and abroad each year.
  • Explore the gardens, have a cup of coffee in the middle of the work of art and buy unique items in the museum shop. The enticing stories told by the guides contain the lives of the trio of architects, along with their famous guests.
  • In Hvitträsk booked guided tours are designed together with the client to suit the needs of the group. Guided tours can be booked in Finnish, Swedish and English. We recommend a maximum visitor group size of 40-50 persons.
