Cottages

Verkkoranta is a holiday destination for 8-13 people: accommodation in three separate cabins (Tekele, Kekäle and Hellahuone). The site is suitable for those who look for silence, wilderness spirit and traditional organic cottage life. Even just a boat trip to the island is already an experience, compared to the usual beach cottage destination on the mainland. The rental includes the use of a covered Buster RS ​​fishing boat. On the mainland, Ruokoniemi beach has a boat dock and a good place to launch a boat, as well as car parking. Verkkoranta is a great vacation spot for families, fishing and small hunting groups. Pets are welcome in the safe island environment.

The property’s specialty is a large two-story, hand-carved plain log sauna, the walls of which are burned black from the inside. The sauna is heated by a custom-made double combustion stove using new combustion technology. Even the whole group can relax in the sauna at once.

Activities and services

Yoga retreats, SUP boarding experiences and peat treatments, as well as corporate work well-being and other events are also organized at Verkkoranta. On the mainland, near the beach, there is a Kalkkerovuori nature trail called Pirunpolku. Small hunting and fishing trips can also be arranged. Catering service on request.
