Accommodation

Vacation Resort Kotoranta offers its guests comfortable facilities on the shore of the clear-water Sääksjärvi. Hotel-level rooms are available in different sizes, from single rooms to family rooms and pet rooms. All rooms have a toilet and shower. Atmospheric beach saunas and a delightful barbecue hut are also available to guests. For children, there is a playroom, a completely renovated outdoor playground and nature in which to play. The total accommodation capacity in Kotoranta is 60 people.

Wellness holidays

Hyvinvointilomat ry organizes subsidized holidays in Kotoranta. The subsidized welfare holiday is intended for low-income families with children, working-age, unemployed and elderly people. Subsidized holidays are granted on economic, health and social grounds. Meals include breakfast, lunch and dinner. On family holidays with children, an evening snack is also offered. Meeting and party services

Kotoranta has versatile facilities where you can organize events from intimate parties to events for up to 80 people. The facilities are suitable for a wide variety of events and you have normal meeting technology at your disposal. Organize a meeting, company days, Christmas parties or even a yoga retreat. In the peace of nature, the rush disappears and stress is forgotten. The packages are tailored exactly to the customers’ needs. Our own kitchen takes care of all food services throughout the visit.

Restaurant

The premises of the restaurant and dining hall are extremely flexible, with the help of skilled and professional staff, the premises are completely transformed into entities that respect and serve your occasion. The kitchen prepares delicious festive meals using only the best ingredients. Although ready-made menus are available, the chefs are also happy to prepare your favorite dishes to serve. Kotoranta is proudly equipped with A rights, so you can choose exactly the drinks you want or the restaurant can recommend drinks that are perfectly compatible with the meal.

Saunas

Large sauna room can comfortably accommodate up to a dozen sauna users, offering space and comfort for larger groups. You can relax in the middle of gentle baths and admire the beautiful lake view from the sauna facilities. In addition, there is a smaller Pikku sauna, which is perfect for smaller groups for an intimate soak. Both saunas are equipped with their own entrance, and in connection with them there is a covered and modernly furnished terrace with a beautiful view of the lake. From the terrace you can easily get to the pier and down the stairs directly to the lake to cool off. In addition to the saunas, it is possible to separately rent a sauna for 10 people, which is located on the terrace of the sauna building.

Activities

A wide variety of outdoor activities are offered, regardless of the season. In the summer, you have the opportunity to play yard games, go hiking in a pristine pine forest, enjoy rowing on a clear lake, or relax on your own beach. Within walking distance from Kotoranta is the praised Sääksjärvi beach, which has a wonderful long sandy beach with playgrounds and diving boards. There is a summer cafe on the swimming beach and the Sääksi Vesipuisto opened in the summer of 2023. In connection with the swimming beach, it is also possible to rent SUP boards.

In winter, you can try snowshoeing in Kotoranta, cool off on the ice of the lake with kick sleds, have fun with the whole family on the sledding and sliding hill or enjoy open swimming in the great open space. A few meters away is a hiking trail, which is a total of 90 kilometers long and is also suitable for cycling and skiing in parts. Several Frisbee golf courses are also nearby. Kayaking, SUP boarding, forest yoga, guided tours and many other options can also be arranged upon request.
