Located in the western part of the province of North Ostrobothnia, in Raahe. Trade House of Lang is a 19th-century cafe-restaurant, shop and boutique hotel that tells about the history of Langi’s merchant manor on the edge of Pekkatori in Old Raahe.

Accommodation

Each hotel room tells the story of a historical person who lived in the Manor, and the interior is timed to a certain stage of the person’s life. You can visit different periods of style, because the interior of the rooms is from different decades of the 19th century. All rooms have their own toilet/bathroom. The price includes breakfast, which is prepared from scratch in our own kitchen.

Cafe-restaurant

The cake showcase of Langi’s cafe is filled every morning with delicacies baked in our own kitchen. Baker starts the morning by baking salty and sweet treats.

The restaurant offers lunch food from a buffet on weekdays. All food and pastries are prepared from scratch in our own kitchen, mainly using ingredients from the surrounding area. The restaurant otherwise operates on the order restaurant principle.

Party

Trade House has 160 customer seats and liquor rights in a wonderful 19th-century milieu. The building has rooms of different sizes that can be used alone or together. The beautiful halls of Trade House create a unique and beautiful setting for memorable parties. Food prepared with love and individual service crown the festive atmosphere. The basis of the servings can be Langi’s old recipe book, from which a menu according to the wishes can be put together, or the menu can be implemented based on the customer’s wishes.

Meetings and business events

Meetings, luncheons and company parties with versatile service and the best food. Trade Houses meeting services create a framework for effective meetings in a guaranteed different and very inspiring environment. The storeroom offers a unique environment and modern meeting technology for customers to use. Programs are arranged for groups according to wishes, and all services are conveniently available from one place.

Shop

On the shelves of the shop, you can find treasures from far away countries and the skillful works of local artisans. Shops product selection is compiled based on Lang’s sailing ship cargo book from 1870, and the company imports small batches of delicacies and other products from the same port cities as the sailing ships in the shop used to be!
