Spa and Conference Hotel Runni

Located in Pohjois-Savo, in the village of Iisalmen Runni, along the Kiurujoki river. The spa and conference hotel Runni is one of Finland’s oldest spas. The spa hotel was completed in 1980 and the facilities have been completely renovated in recent years. The restaurant facilities were renovated in January 2020. In addition to accommodation and spa services, Spa Hotel Runni offers meeting facilities, entertainment and wellness treatments. Welcome to the well-being source!

Accommodation

Spa hotel

A soft night’s sleep is guaranteed by Unikulma’s Luxus beds. The hotel has 59 rooms and two suites with saunas. The standard equipment of the spacious rooms includes e.g. minibar and flat-screen TV, wi-fi, iron and ironing board, kettle and room-specific air conditioning. Hygiene products available at the reception. Almost all rooms also have the option of an extra bed, and those traveling with pets also have their own rooms. Some rooms have spacious balconies. The room rates include breakfast, free use of the spa and the smoke sauna when it is open to the public.

Manor hotel

Located in a central location, about 200m from the Spa Hotel Runni. The manor hotel is also a culturally significant building as a vacation spot for well-known Finnish artists in the early decades of the 20th century. Built in 1904 and restored in 2011, the hotel building and its rooms breathe history with modern equipment. The room rates include breakfast, free use of the spa and the smoke sauna when it is open to the public.

Caravans

Spa Hotel Runni has 34 electric points in the courtyard area as well as spaces for RVs and caravans to stay overnight. A chemical toilet emptying and flushing point was completed for the caravans in the summer of 2020. The use of the service is included in the price of the electricity point. All services are inexpensively available to campers as well.

Spa

The spa department invites you to take a refreshing swim and relax in the water massage pools. You can linger in the cold pool or otherwise just stop to enjoy the unhurried feeling and the beautiful natural landscape that opens up from the pools. The flowing water of Kiurujoki, the beauty of the surrounding nature and the changes of the seasons bring additional harmony to enjoying the pools. Customers also have access to the Hydrohex virtual pool exercise service.

In connection with the spa department, you can also enjoy the beneficial effects of the infrared sauna and the salt room or the bright light room, as well as wonderful traditional treatments such as cupping and limb repair, as well as versatile massage services. You can enjoy the gentle relaxation of the smoke sauna on Thursdays from 16:00 to 21:00 and Fri-Sat from 14:00 to 21:00. (Private events may change opening hours)

Restaurant and party services

In addition to a versatile breakfast, Ravintola Runni also offers À la carte dishes, soup lunches and pizzas. A buffet dinner is served on Fridays and Saturdays. The popular Saturday brunch is served every Saturday (excluding 24.6-12.8.2023).

Activities

The hotel’s customers can use e.g. gym, sports hall, ping-pong table, Boccia, board games, Petanque, Tonkkumi and walking sticks. In addition, you can rent from us: A bicycle, a canoe, a rowing boat and reserve a playing time on the tennis and volleyball courts and on the frisbee golf course.
