Mukkula Cottages and Farm

Located in the village of Tihusniemi, in Pieksämäki, South Savo region. The distance to Varkaus is 18 km, to Pieksämäki 25 km, Leppävirta 20 km and to Kuopio 75 km. There are three cottages for rent in their own quiet locations. In the summer of 2025, the fourth log cabin will be completed.

Cottages

The cottages are relocated log buildings that respect the old building tradition and have a unique, peaceful atmosphere.

Nature and activities

The nature surrounding offers good opportunities for outdoor activities, hiking, berry picking, mushroom picking and fishing. The cottages are located in the middle of peaceful nature, in a beautiful lake landscape, where you can stop in the middle of everyday life. The farm also has pets, such as goats, sheep and chickens, which the customers are welcome to see.
