Kaunissaaren Maja
Located in an authentic fishing village, right by the sea in the Kotka, Kymenlaakso region. The company offers accommodation, restaurant service and banquet and meeting facilities. Kaunissaari is a separate island in the Kotka archipelago, which can be reached by public ferry or own boat.
The menu at Kaunissaari Maja’s restaurant consists of clean, domestic and local flavors. Kaunissaari’s salmon soup is a local classic and the island’s own “Rikkaat Ritarit” are a must try. In the restaurant you can find something to taste, whether you are a friend of fish, meat or vegetarian food.
In the summer of 2021, five magnificent hotel rooms were completed in connection with the restaurant, so you can now enjoy Kaunissaari’s wonderful summer even longer. Rooms are available from Standard to Premium. In addition to the hotel-level rooms, there is a 30m2 barn at the level of a traditional cottage, which can accommodate 2-4 people.
Kaunissaaren Maja is a summer restaurant at its most authentic and offers two cabinet pavilions on the sun terrace to reserve for groups, where you can have a party with the best friends or work groups. The cabinets can accommodate a maximum of eight people at a time. One pavilion has a table and chairs and the other is equipped with a barbecue.
There also has an orderable beach sauna with a jacuzzi. The sauna can accommodate 5-8 people at a time.
