Accommodation

Nature services Forest’s call offers various accommodation options, such as: Ekolan Torpa’s old log barns, where 1-5 people sleep in B&B style. 2 motorhome spaces/incl. electricity, wooden outhouse and sauna. In Nuotioniemi, you will stay in a tent or in a sauna cabin that can accommodate 2-4 people. In the area there is a kitchen shed, a log cabin and lean-tos, and a ground cellar. There is also a smoke sauna in Nuotioniemi, which can be heated on request.

Meeting and party services

Nuotioniemi is an event and activity center located on the shore of Keitele, at the edge of the nature reserve. Guided and independent company events are organized in the area between May and September. You can rent Nuotioniemi and its buildings for your own parties and events, e.g. birthdays, bachelor parties, family parties, etc. The kitchen shed can accommodate 20 people and the log cabin can accommodate 15-20 people. Catering services on request. Thanks to its location, the place is well suited as a base for lake fishermen, for use by ice fishing, casting and trolling groups. From June 1, 2024, the smoke sauna will be heated every 2-3 weeks.

Activities and rental services

Nature services Forest’s call organizes versatile guided tours. In the summer, hiking on the prepared route of the nature reserve, mountain biking, wild herb courses, archery and kayaking, from a 4-5 hour trip to an overnight trip on Lake Keitele or even combine hiking and kayaking with the beautiful scenery of Jylhänvuori. In winter, kick sleds safaris and snowshoeing are organized in the Ekola area. Kayaks, snowshoes, kick sleds, mountain bikes and trailers suitable for their transport are available for rent.
